Day 299 – 29th June 2017
If you can believe it, this is the penultimate day of beer in my rather extended challenge. Two hundred and ninety eight beers have gone before today, and only one is going to follow. This evening’s beer is from the Titanic Brewery in Stoke-on-Trent, and it’s a tasty little number in black. ‘Chocolate and Vanilla Stout’ is exactly that, and by jove it’s fantastic! Day 84 – 15th May 2015
Vive le weekend, as the French might say! You can’t beat a nice, crisp refreshing ale after a long week at the office, and that’s what I’ve gone for. It’s from the Titanic Brewery, and it’s called ‘Iceberg’. Head over to http://www.titanicbrewery.co.uk to find out more.
Day 77 – 3rd May 2015
Well, it’s Sunday night, but there’s no ironing to be done (not just yet, anyway) – it’s Bank Holiday tomorrow! And so, in the absence of my regular Sunday evening chore, I’m watching Snooker and drinking yet another beer on my quest. This particular night, it’s a little something from the Potteries – see what I did there? Snooker. Potteries. Ah, nevermind! From the Titanic Brewery, it’s their ‘White Star’ ale. Light and fresh, it is a real joy to drink. And for more information, why not peruse their website at http://www.titanicbrewery.co.uk
Day 65 – 16th April 2015
Welcome, once more, dear readers to the latest entry in my alcoholic diary! You know, I’m running out of good ways to start these posts, so forgive me if I start to cut short the pleasantries and dive straight into the business. Speaking of which, today’s ale is fitting for someone of my standing – from the Titanic Brewery, it’s their ‘Lordship’s Own’, part of their Shugborough range. If you’d like to see more, then scoot over to http://www.titanicbrewery.co.uk. Oh, and in case you’re not sure what the hell I’m on about, I have one of those Scottish Laird titles and own a tiny patch of land on an estate in the Scottish highlands. Och Aye!
