300 Days of Beer – Day 298

Day 298 – 25th June 2017

300beersIt’s been a funny old day, weather-wise. A bit of sun, lots of rain, and then a bit more sun. So, in between the showers, the permanent members of the Moore household decided to nip out for a bit. After a little bit of shopping, we headed off to Fordhall Farm just outside Market Drayton. The weather was shitty when we got there, so a quick dash into the shop yielded unexpected beer paydirt, more of which shortly. Following coffee in the cafe, we had a brief wander to visit the pigs and say hello before beating a hasty retreat when it looked like a piggy orgy was about to break out! On to the beer, then. From the Corvedale Brewery based near Craven Arms, ‘Pax Ale’ is a fresh, crisp golden ale that was a delightful accompaniment to the enchiladas that Mrs M served up for tea. If you want to know more about the beer, head over to http://home.btconnect.com/thesuninncorfton and you can read all about them. If you want to know more about the enchiladas, ask Mrs M!!
