300 Days of Beer – Day 277

Day 277 – 16th November 2016

300beersWednesday has been and gone, which means for some, the week is halfway over. For the lucky ones (including me) who only have a short week, we can bask in the knowledge that tomorrow is technically our Friday!! Today was an average day made better by a trip to buy beer and a long overdue visit from my first born, who decided to grace us with his presence in order to collect some books (which is something to be proud of). So as a celebration of sorts, I’m having a beer. From the Theakston brewery, it’s their legendary (apparently) ‘Old Peculier’. A deliciously dark ale brewed with a combination of malts and the rather wonderfully named Fuggle hop, this was a marvellous ale to finish a pretty good day.
